Then came Kumbakonam school tragedy on 20/07/2004 fire tragedydostudents were perishifd. We conductpdstpnt procession with the helpof our members,.labourersassociatton and parchl service associationson 09-07-1997 transportsamratawardwasconferred on Sri. JAGADISH. In 2003 SRI. K.M. NARASIMHAN one of the founders of the associationpassed away. the members expressed deep condolence. then came tsunamiwhich affected many people. We not only conducted silent processionto show our sympathy but also collected cloths and food materialsand sent to relief camps

In 2009 we pleaded with corporation commissioner to remove thelicence system to transporters as they do not come under thatcategory. though he did not cancel it but suspended and referred togovt of Tamilnadu. However there is no pressure further till date.

In 2014 association trust got 80-g order from inçome tax department.On 27-07-2015 dr. abdul kalam ex president of india died in heart attack.As a mark respect, members assembled at assocition office and codoledthe death. tree plantations were undertaken in our area. on 14-05-2016SRI. PAULRAI president died in accident.
